Complaint Letter To IQAir Healthpro HEPA Air Cleaners Home Office In The USA

Dear Kathy,

This is your soon to be EX dealer {By Choice} Barry Cohen of Absolute Air Cleaners And Allergy Products at http://www.aircleaners.com. Today I received a very rude and alarming phone call from your employee Diana Meza. Diana informed me that a woman / customer called her to order a Healthpro Plus HEPA air purifier because her girlfriend told her that she was happy with her own Healthpro Plus IQAir unit. This woman /customer first called me but did not purchase from my company for reasons unknown. Maybe Diana just took the sale from me because she had the opportunity to get the sale for herself causing IQAir, to not be supportive to my company or to any of your other dealers in general.

When this woman / customer contacted me she told me that her desire was to have cleaner indoor air quality in her home. I gave her choices of valid HEPA air purifier / air cleaner options based on her on her need to have a HEPA air purifier that would also kill viruses, bacteria and mold spores.

Because I care about my customer's individual needs and desires I first told her about the IQAir Healthpro Plus unit. However I also gave her the option to purchase our TRACS HEPA air purifier that would better control the biological contaminates that she also showed concern for. Kathy, the woman told me that she wanted an air purifier that would cover problems beyond the IQAir Healthpro Plus capabilities. This is the main reason why I gave this woman other options.

It is my job to help our customers make the best choice in purchasing a HEPA air purifier/ air cleaner based on their direct needs and concerns! I will not do otherwise! EVER!

I never discredited the IQAir Healthpro Plus in any way! In fact I told her that the Healthpro Plus would do a wonderful job of removing dust, pet dander from her dog, normal allergens and out-gassing chemicals but it would not kill viruses, bacteria and mold spores. I also told her how quiet the Healthpro Plus was.

When I explained my dealing with this woman / customer to your employee Diana Meza she flipped out by taking an abusive yelling fit expressing that I should have sold this woman the IQAir Healthpro Plus unit solely because it was the brand of air purifier the woman / customer first requested! She said that I was not being loyal to IQAir and she said I was dead wrong to give this woman / customer other options even though it was made clear to me that she wanted an air purifier that had the capability to also kill viruses, bacteria and mold spores from her indoor environment!

In this same conversation I asked Diana to give me a price on one of your home units that a customer requested from me. Diana totally refused to give me my dealer price thus preventing me from doing do business with my waiting customer!

Is this how IQAir trains it's employees to do business and interact with their hard working dealers? If it is and it sure seems to be, we are not going to be doing business together for another day! I have been selling IQAir products in good faith for your company for many years now and I have given your company good and valuable advice based on my over 18 years in the indoor air quality and HEPA air purifier / air cleaner industry. We may not always see eye to eye on every subject but I have never, ever been treated like this in all the years we have done business together! Personally I feel that your company has made a huge mistake by being so disrespectful to me while also preventing me from producing IQAir sales to my customers! Also, I will not be told what to sell to my customers or how to sell my products! I own this successful company {since 1989} and I am well aware how to deal with our customers indoor air quality needs!

Mark my words when I tell you that I can and now intend to turn our many thousands of web site visitors and potential customers to any one of our other top quality brands of HEPA air purifiers / air cleaners that will best fit their direct individual needs! Many of our other top quality brands of HEPA air purifier / air cleaners cost far less money then comparable IQAir models and future filter replacement costs are much less as well! But the most important fact is that the other HEPA air purifier / air cleaner factories I deal with treat my company and our many customers with total respect! Something your company needs to learn how to do!
